2016 Awards

Grace Kennedy (BAH ’16) won the Dr. Jim MacNeill Memorial Scholarship in Journalism and was awarded the Governor-General’s Silver Medal for journalistic excellence at Encaenia. A true interdisciplinarian, she also won the University Medal in the History of Science and Technology. University medals are granted by each program in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences to the student with the highest grade.

Eilish Hart (BAH ’16) was awarded the King’s Medal, for the graduating student who “stands highest in an Honours programme in an Arts or Science subject”. Hart was also the recipient of the University medal in European Studies

  • University Medal in Contemporary Studies: Gwendolyn Moncrieff-Gould (BAH ’16)
  • University Medal in Early Modern Studies: Jake Norris (BAH ’16)
  • University Medal in History of Science and Technology: Grace Kennedy (BAH ’16)
