The King’s Chorus and Capella Regalis will perform Benjamin Britten’s seldom heard  Saint Nicolas on Friday, 6 December 2013, 7.30 PM at Saint Mary’s Basilica, 1508 Barrington Street, Halifax.

Directed by Nick Halley, the concert features David Greenberg as concert master and tenor James Kennerley as soloist. Paul Halley is the organist. Other musical works include pieces by J S Bach and Arvo Pärt. Dr Brian Flemming, former chancellor of King’s, will speak about Benjamin Britten’s connection to Halifax and how it may have influenced his music.
