Black Cop, Cory Bowles, provided by the National Film Board of Canada

You are invited to a free screening of Black Cop on February 5, 2020 at 7 p.m. in Alumni Hall at King’s. Following the movie, there will be a Q&A with director Cory Bowles.

In Black Cop, a black police officer is pushed to the edge and takes on the white community during a day filled with abuse, assault, harassment and terror. This award-winning, intense, and timely political satire addresses issues of race, class, and power.

This event is sponsored by the Simon and Riva Spatz Visiting Chair in Jewish Studies, King’s Board Equity Committee, and The President of King’s College. Director Cory Bowles will also participate in a panel discussion on Feb. 6.
