King’s humanities professor Dr Susan Dodd is a finalist for the new Atlantic Book Award for Scholarly Writing for her book, The Ocean Ranger: Remaking the Promise of Oil. The scholarly writing category is new this year.
The 2013 Atlantic Book Awards and Festival takes place 9-16 May with free literary events taking place in all four Atlantic Provinces. Winners of the 2013 Atlantic Book Awards will be announced at a special awards show on the last night of the week-long festival, Thursday, 16 May, 7:00 PM at the Alderney Landing Theatre in Dartmouth, NS.
