Griffin McInnes wins writing prize

Griffin McInnes (BAH ’11) received the prize for best unproduced play in this year’s Atlantic Writing Competition (AWC). His award-winning play, “Science Inaction: a love story”, premiered here at King’s as part of the HOPOS conference in June 2012.

Griffin was one of seven prize-winners chosen from over 100 entries, with judging by the members of the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia and past AWC winners. Griffin was awarded his prize at the Halifax Word on the Street Book and Magazine Festival on 22 September 2013.

This autumn, Griffin begins his studies on the Master of Experiments on Arts and Politics of Science program at the Sciences Po in Paris, France.

Congratulations, Griffin!
