BA (Vind), MA (Dal)
Kristian grew up in small town Nova Scotia and came to King’s for the first time to attend the Foundation Year Programme. After an enriching first year he went on to complete his BAH in Contemporary Studies and Political Science at King’s/Dal. Following his undergrad Kristian studied French at Université Sainte-Anne in the beautiful Baie Sainte-Marie, and spent another year teaching English in France. He returned to King’s for the first time to work as a Don and pursue an MA in Political Science at Dalhousie. Following the completion of his MA, Kristian left to purse other opportunities, but his work in residence at King’s bought him back once again. In 2015 Kristian returned to King’s yet again, bringing with him his experience in residence life at Dalhousie, Sainte-Anne, and King’s, in a new position as Assistant Dean.
Outside of his work in residence Kristian is invariably found in the backcountry of Nova Scotia. He enjoys camping, hiking, paddling, and loves fly fishing and fly tying. When confined to the city he likes to spend time cooking, feasting with friends, and enjoying an occasional craft beer.
