Mr. Ledwell is a long-time journalist turned communications strategist with extensive experience in Canadian and British media industries. Currently, he is the Director of Communications for the New Cities Foundation, a global think tank focused on urban innovation. He works with the Foundation’s team and their network of business, academic and government partners to tell stories of how innovation is making cities better places to live around the world.
Previously, Mr Ledwell was the Community Editor with the CBC in Montréal, developing digital strategies, presenting a regular technology column, and coordinating partnerships, and has also served as a journalist, producer and digital editor for the CBC, the BBC and the Montreal Gazette.
A dedicated volunteer for public organizations, Mr Ledwell regularly speaks on new media and advises several institutions on digital communications and public relations strategies. He lives in Montreal with his wife and young family.
