The Contemporary Studies (CTMP) program invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to handle teaching duties for CTMP/GWST 3355, Girls and Girlhood. CTMP/GWST 3355 is an interdisciplinary course which examines ideas about the girl and girlhood in philosophy, critical theory and literature from the Victorian period to the present day.
Candidates may come from various fields but should have at least an undergraduate degree. Familiarity with the contemporary period and gender and women’s studies will be considered an asset, as will prior TA experience (at the university level).
Hourly Rate of Pay: $30.05 per hour (classification of TA130). Position is conditional on the course’s final enrollment numbers
