Writing Coach - Foundation Year Programme

The University of King’s College invites applications for the position of Writing Coach in the Foundation Year Programme. This is an eight-month appointment, with the possibility of re-appointment, commencing September 1, 2017 and ending April 30, 2018.

Duties include offering one-on-one writing support to first year students, organizing and conducting workshops on writing, and developing writing resources.

The Writing Coach will meet with students by appointment and during regular drop-in hours for approximately 25 hours/week.

All candidates will have a university degree or equivalent in some area of the humanities or social sciences as a minimum.

Closing Date: June 30, 2017 *NEW DATE*

Salary: $23.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
