Astronomy on the Big Screen: Our Stellar Neighbourhood in Science Fiction

Astronomy has inspired and informed science fiction films from the 1920s to today. Come to the Halifax Planetarium and learn how to locate real objects visible in the night sky that have featured in some noteworthy films.

It will be a spoiler-light treatment, and the films featured are:
