The University is closed for Heritage Day. Nova Scotia Heritage Day, established in 2015, is an “annual opportunity to celebrate different contributions to Nova Scotia’s storied past and diverse culture, and learn more about our history in the process.”

As 2020 will mark the 10th anniversary of the Africville apology, we will honour this National Historic Site, which holds great significance to the African Nova Scotian community.
