Do you have a book in you?

If you have an idea for a nonfiction book, we can help you get it onto the page—and you can do it from wherever you live.

Come hear about the MFA in Creative Nonfiction offered jointly by Dalhousie University and the University of King’s College. This two-year limited-residency program allows you to combine short, intense, on-campus sessions with ongoing one-to-one mentoring by professional nonfiction writers, editors and teachers. The program includes two June residencies in Halifax, and two January residencies that alternate between Toronto and New York, North America’s two leading publishing centres.

At the Meet & Greet, you’ll have the opportunity to speak with faculty, mentors, alumni and current students, to get the full story on getting your story onto the page.

This event is free, but you must RSVP to kim.pittaway@ukings.ca, using the subject line “Halifax Meet & Greet” be placed on the guest list.
