The King's Presidential Search Committee was established to find a replacement for Dr. George Cooper, whose term expires on June 30, 2016.
Town Hall meetings are one of three opportunities for all members of the King's community to participate in this process (see King's Presidential Search Committee)
From Mary Martin, Chair of the King's Presidential Search Committee:
"The Search Committee has met two times and will be making decisions on a consensus basis. Our first priority is to consult the community in order to assist us in developing a profile of the ideal candidate. While this is not a job description, it will be the most important document for the presidential search, as it will describe the attributes we are looking for in a new president. Following this consultation process, the committee will develop the profile of the ideal candidate for approval by the Board of Governors."
