King’s battled Acadia in a very entertaining midweek game at Graves Oakley in Halifax. Travis Devonport led the King’s forwards to a try in the opening 5 minutes, and Acadia answered with a penalty before Dylan Aleck made an electric run down the sideline to score. Acadia converted two line breaks into tries and pressed for a third, but the half ended with the Blue Devils making a goal line stand to keep it 17-10. The second half saw Acadia’s deep bench take hold as the Blue Devils, playing shorthanded, conceded a few tries in the final 20 minutes. Josh Baker was player of the Game for King’s.
