2012-13 King's in the Cathedral concerts

The King’s College Chapel Choir’s first concert of the 2012-13 King’s at the Cathedral series will be the Schnittke Requiem, which will be performed on November 4 in Halifax at 4.00 PM, in All Saints Cathedral on Martello Street.

Returning for its fifth year, the popular A King’s Christmas concert of music and narrations will be performed in St John’s Anglican Church, Truro, on December 9 at 4.00 PM, in St John’s Anglican Church, Lunenburg on 14 December, 7.30 PM, in Wolfville Baptist Church, Wolfville on 15 December at 4.00 PM, and in All Saints Cathedral, Halifax on 16 December at 3.00 PM and 7.30 PM. Award-winning short story writer Alexander MacLeod is the narrator for these concerts.

The season ends with Bach’s St John Passion in St John’s Anglican Church, Lunenburg on 23 March 2012, 4.00 PM, and in All Saints Cathedral, Halifax on March 24, 2013 at 4.00 PM.
