The Manning Room in Alex Hall is open for quiet study 24 hours daily throughout the exam schedule. It has sofas, comfortable chairs and a large table for group work. Wifi is available. Students are expected to abide by the 23-hour exam Quiet Hours while in the residences.
Friday December 4 – Sunday December 17, 2015 the library will be open until 2:00am daily. A valid DalCard is required for admission after hours.
No services (e.g. lending or printing) will be available after hours. No food or drink is permitted.

There are many carrels and study tables on the lower floor and study tables on the main floor. The Library encourages a quiet study atmosphere throughout the building. There is one group study room with wireless Internet which can accommodate 2 – 6 people. No food or drink is permitted.

The group study room is not available during the extended hours. The room may be booked for 2 hours at a time by contacting the Circulation Desk at ext.171.

Group Study Rooms are located in the Learning Commons on the main floor of the library. Each room holds 4-6 people and has a whiteboard and docknet port. The rooms may be used for a maximum of 3 hours. Reservations may be made in person only on the required day at Technical Assistance Desk at back of Learning Commons.
