Jennifer Adams will be joining King’s on Monday, June 20 as the University Librarian.
It’s a “coming home” of sorts for Jennifer who graduated from King’s with a Bachelor of Arts with an advanced Major in History and Sociology in 1995. She went on to do a Master of Library and Information Studies at Dalhousie University. In her free time she is working on a Master of Adult Education through St. Francis Xavier University.
Since 2007 she has been a reference and cataloguing librarian at the Sir James Dunn Law Library and taught the course Expert Searching for Clients in the School of Information Management at Dalhousie. She has held various librarian positions at Acadia, Mount Saint Vincent and Cape Breton universities.
“As a King’s graduate, I recognize the important role the library plays as a hub of activity in the Quad,” said Jennifer. She looks forward to meeting students, staff and faculty in the library, on campus and in the classroom. You can contact her at email@example.com.
