Melanie Frappier named Destination Halifax Ambassador Award winner

Mélanie Frappier, assistant professor in the History of Science and Technology programme, has been named a Destination Halifax Ambassador Award winner for her role in organising the 2012 International Society for the History & Philosophy of Science (HOPOS) conference.

Mélanie specialises in the history of philosophy of early 20th century physics, but her research and teaching interests also include the history of thought experiments and early modern physics, the material culture of science, and the history of technology.
