Men's rugby team claims division two Nova Scotia University Rugby Championship

Congratulations to the University of King’s College men’s rugby team! It was a nail-biter finish, but they triumphed in the end, defeating arch-rival Dalhousie University 22-15 to take the Division Two Nova Scotia University Rugby Championship.

“In a game best described as an emotional rollercoaster, King’s erased a 12-3 first half deficit and literally out-worked their opponents to grab the win,” says director of athletics Neil Hooper.

Great work, team, and coaches John Adams, John Choptiany, and Brian Krawetz. Thanks also go out to manager-players Colin Price and Benjamin Blum and the four trainers. Your hard work was worth it.

The team heads off to UNB this weekend for the Maritme Championship. Go King’s!
