The Contemporary Studies Programme at the University of King’s College invites applications for one (1) Teaching Assistant position for “Modern Social and Political Thought” (CTMP2000) in the 2012-13 academic year. This class is a broad, introductory survey of social and political thought from the early nineteenth century to the present day. The emphasis is primarily, though not exclusively, on continental European philosophers and political theorists.
Duties include:
Candidates may come from various fields but should have at least an undergraduate degree. Graduates who have taken the Foundation Year Programme or other courses at King’s, or who have pursued interdisciplinary interests elsewhere, are particularly encouraged to apply.
The appointment will be at the level of TA260, and the pay scale will match the collective agreement between Dalhousie and CUPE.
