The King’s Chapel Choir has created a blog to generate some hype leading up to their performance of Bach’s Saint Matthew Passion on Wednesday April 20 in Lunenberg and Friday April 22 in Halifax. (See more information about that event here.)
The blog will include interesting facts and historical information about this challenging work as well as scanned documents, interviews with performers, rehearsal footage and more.
We encourage you to take a look at the first few entries here: http://saintmatthewpassion.
The choir also welcomes reflective pieces on the nature and background of the Passion as well as memories of past performances. Please contact Alison Lang at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The blog will be updated a few times a week, with alerts posted to the King’s Twitter feed here: http://twitter.com/#!/@ukings.
