Andrew Black serves on the board of governors and executive committee as a representative of the Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
Mr Black is the Director, Strategic Technology with the Port of Halifax. He graduated from Mount Allison University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in French. While at Mount Allison, he served as president of the New Brunswick Student Alliance. Following his undergraduate degree, he completed his Post-Graduate Certificate in Education at the Institute of Education at the University of London.
A native resident of Halifax, Mr Black has served as a board member for several community organizations, including the 2b theatre company, St. George’s YouthNet and Fusion Halifax, and he has taught Sunday School at the Cathedral Church of All Saints.
