Andrew Black serves on the board of governors and executive committee as a representative of the Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
Mr Black graduated from Mount Allison University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in French. While at Mount Allison, he served as president of the New Brunswick Student Alliance. Following his undergraduate degree, he completed his Post-Graduate Certificate in Education at the Institute of Education at the University of London.
A native resident of Halifax, Mr Black has been involved in a number of community organizations, including the 2b Theatre Company, the board of St. George’s YouthNet, and as a founding co-chair of FUSION artsScene. He is currently involved with the Cathedral Church of All Saints where he teaches Sunday school.
Mr Black is the manager of IT resourcing and director of Maritime sales at Nicom IT Solutions .
