Brandi has spent her professional life in student affairs and Indigenous student services as a career advisor and program coordinator. She grew up in Nova Scotia and moved to the UK after high school to study Psychology. She then spent some time travelling and working in South America before moving to Ontario to complete an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography and Anthropology at the University of Toronto. She is currently working towards a certificate in Community Engagement, Leadership, and Development to expand on the skills and knowledge required to foster positive experience while working with community. In her previous role as Indigenous Career Coordinator, Brandi developed educational resources for Indigenous students, supported peer and mentorship programs, and established experiential education opportunities as well as designed and facilitated educational workshops. Alongside her work, she volunteered as an Academic Excellence Advisor for the women’s fraternity in which she is an alumnus of, supporting collegiate members with their academics. She is excited to now be a member of the Academic Services Team at the King’s Registrar’s Office and to once again be living on the beautiful Nova Scotian coast. In her spare time, Brandi enjoys beading, reading, and hiking, as well as spending time with her four adorable cats.
