Chantal Caissie moved to Halifax in 2007 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts at Saint Mary’s University where she graduated summa cum laude. Originally from Moncton, NB, she has had a long-time love of music which led her to enrolling in the Music Business program at NSCC, later graduating with the Highest Achievement Award in 2011. She worked in the music industry for several years, including with Symphony Nova Scotia, the Halifax Jazz Festival, and most notably, the East Coast Music Association, before returning to SMU as an alumni officer. She is excited to be bringing her years of experience working in alumni and member relations, event planning, and communications to King’s.
In her spare time, you can find her supporting local musicians at concerts, cheering in the crowd at wrestling events, and playing pinball wherever she can.
