Kaitlin Burek Kaitlin Burek

BSc (Dalhousie), MSc (Edinburgh)

Pronouns: (She/Her)

Whether as a co-operative education student or practitioner, Kaitlin has witnessed the power of experiential education for nearly 10-years. In her roles as Student Experience Coordinator and Student Development Coordinator with the Science, Information Technology, and Engineering (SITE) Co-operative Education Office, Kaitlin has had the pleasure of supporting the introduction, re-introduction, and growth of co-operative education programs (1 BA program, 11 BSc programs) for undergraduate students at Dalhousie University. To do so, she has worked extensively with students, employers, faculty, and colleagues to champion work-integrated learning, complete program audits, conduct feasibility studies, host advising sessions, and more.

Kaitlin could not be more excited to bring her experiential learning, research (BSc, Marine Biology; MSc, Science Communication and Public Engagement), and communication experience to the Art of the Possible project: a project designed to increase experiential learning and entrepreneurship opportunities for Arts students in Nova Scotia.
