Nicholas Hatt Nicholas Hatt

Nicholas Hatt has been the dean of students since 2008. He is a graduate of King’s (Classics and Contemporary Studies) and completed graduate work at the Atlantic School of Theology and Dalhousie University.

Nick’s academic interests include early Christian doctrines of the soul and pastoral care. As a member of the King’s faculty, he has lectured in the Foundation Year Programme and teaches regularly in Halifax Humanities 101, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing university-level humanities education to those living in material poverty.

The dean sits on a number of university committees including Residence Life, the Wardroom Board of Management, and the Dalhousie University Community Committee. He is also the King’s representative on the board of governors at the Atlantic School of Theology.
