Sarah Poko is a Content Marketing Editor with the SaltWire Network in Halifax. She came from her home country, Nigeria, to complete her Master of Journalism at King’s, which gave her the opportunity to work with CBC Halifax, The Coast, Polestar Student Immigration Network, and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.Sarah is passionate about learning and hopes to nurture the curiosity of young journalists under her tutelage. She enjoys writing about issues that affect our society and sometimes, our morality. This includes topics about human rights, diversity, education and immigration.In her free time, you can often find Sarah working on her play, practicing her ukulele or brainstorming ideas for her podcast ‘Poko Ponders.’
