Stuart Pattillo Stuart Pattillo

Stuart is currently Director, Senior Portfolio Manager with Manulife Investment Management Agriculture where he is directly responsible for the active management of over $1.4 billion USD of agriculture investment assets located in the USA, Canada, South America and Australia for 10 separate investment entities. In this role, he manages a team of analysts and associates to evaluate portfolio performance, acquisition and disposition opportunities and the development and implementation of investment objectives and strategies for institutional investors from across the globe. Prior to joining Manulife in 2020, he consulted on alternative asset investment strategies with private asset managers in Canada and the United States, as well as being the Director of Private Investments at Bonnefield Financial, Canada’s largest farmland investment manager, where he was responsible for business development and the active management of a portfolio of Canadian farmland on behalf of private investors. Previously, Stuart was an agriculture equity research associate at AltaCorp Capital (now ATB Capital Markets) and a natural gas trader with TD Securities in Calgary.

Stuart moved from Toronto to Boston, MA in 2022 with his wife. In Toronto, Stuart was active in the community as a front-line volunteer with Out From the Cold, a temporary shelter in downtown Toronto as well as a committee member on the Toronto Public Library fundraising committee.
