Situating Science

Situating Science

situ-sci_logo

With King’s College as its centre, Situating Science had six nodes spread across the country, all working on bringing together leading Canadian and international scholars who study science and technology. By putting these individuals in contact with scientists, journalists and policy makers interested in the broader social and cultural significance of science and technology, the cluster has created long-term relationships between humanistic scholars of science and the various publics of Canada.

Science and technology can be a source for both hope and anxiety, and as such, Situating Science provided amplification to expert voices who can address the crucial topic of the place of these disciplines in our modern world.
