We publish a monthly magazine of political and social commentary for enlightened Albertans. Alberta Views Magazine was founded in 1997 and won “Magazine of the Year” at the 2008 National Magazine Awards.

Description of the fellowship

The intern would work throughout the summer on a 3,000 word investigative article on a topic of concern to the public interest of Alberta citizens.Also, the intern would assist in assembling the Eye on Alberta package of previously published pieces, preview books and advise the books editor on whether we should review them and assist in gathering information about voters there, and research information about program line-ups for the upcoming arts season for our Guides.

The student will assist with Constituency Close Up “and assist in gathering information about voters there.”

The internship would run from approximately late June to the end of August.

Location

Alberta Views Magazine is located in Calgary, Alberta. The fellowship can be done remotely.
