This course expands on the skills learned in JOUR 2702.03 Introduction to Visual Storytelling as students focus on broadcast techniques. Students will learn how to create a story using an array of forms, including packaged and live reports from the field. They will also practise shooting and editing a proper video sequence, learn the basics of interviewing for audio and video and apply journalistic broadcast ethics in the field.
Prerequisite: JOUR 2700.03 + JOUR 2701.03 or permission of the instructor.
