This course builds on the writing foundation provided in JOUR 1003.03 and gives students a comprehensive introduction to news reporting in a digital environment. Students will learn how to develop and pitch original story ideas, and ground them with research. They learn how to write with minimal factual and grammatical error, and craft a story with focus nuance.
