Facilities management reports to the bursar, and is led by the director of facilities.

All work requests are to be placed through the Micromain System.
Water Discolouration: Due to high water draws, Halifax Water has issued a notice that tap water may be discoloured. It is recommended you run the cold water until it runs clear. Halifax Water is flushing the system to resolve the issue. We will provide updates when available.
Facilities Management is responsible for the planning, development, construction, operation, maintenance and stewardship of all the buildings, infrastructure, sites and services within King’s campus community. The facilities department is a service-oriented organization that provides a wide range of services, including the maintenance, operation and renovation of buildings; grounds and utility systems; development of capital projects and project management; multimedia services, custodial, fire and life safety; stewardship of sustainability initiatives and support for accessibility initiatives.
