Facilities Management

King's and Dalhousie campuses will close at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 23 due to Hurricane Fiona: this closure will remain in effect until at least Sunday morning at 8 a.m. An update will be shared prior to that time on the status of campus operations for Sunday and Monday.

Facilities Management is responsible for the planning, development, construction, operation, maintenance and stewardship of all the buildings, infrastructure, sites and services within King’s campus community. The facilities department is a service-oriented organization that provides a wide range of services, including the maintenance, operation, and renovation of buildings; grounds and utility systems; development of capital projects and project management; multimedia services, custodial, fire and life safety; stewardship of sustainability initiatives and support for accessibility initiatives.

Reporting structure

Facilities management reports to the bursar, and is led by the director of facilities.

Hours of operation

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

All work requests are to be placed through the Micromain System.
