The documentary, created by Elliot Page follows his return to his home province to meet with Black and Indigenous women who are working to end the legacy of environmental racism in Nova Scotia. Based on former Dalhousie professor Dr. Ingrid Waldron’s book of the same name and featuring Delisle’s work in Shelburne, There’s Something in the Water traces the environmental injustices perpetrated against Indigenous and ANS/Black communities and the activists within those communities demanding justice. This will be an event you do not want to miss!
