BA (McMaster)
Originally from Brampton, Ontario, Lucy (she/her) attended McMaster University for a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She grew up knowing that she wanted to help people in any way that she could, and after navigating post secondary with a learning disability, she found a passion for creating spaces where all people belong.
Lucy brings a strong background in equity, diversity, inclusion, and student support, including experience at Mount Allison University. Passionate about creating spaces where students feel supported, heard, and empowered to succeed, her work has focused on advocacy, community engagement, inclusive education, and one-on-one support for equity-deserving communities.
As the Academic Support Coordinator, Lucy works with students to help develop effective learning strategies and skills that contribute to academic success, and offer early intervention to students who need support by connecting them to resources at King’s and Dalhousie.
Hobbies: Cooking/baking, kayaking, weight training, watching horror movies, reading, biking, and spending time with her partner and two cats, Waluigi and Tiggy
