We’re calling all alumni to join us Saturday, June 1, for Alumni Day 2024!
Tour guides will be on hand to take you on a stroll down memory lane and point out what’s new on campus. Catch up with friends and celebrate your peers as the Alumni Award recipients will be honoured during brunch and so much more!
Alumni Day 2024 includes:
- King’s campus tours – Attend a guided tour of King’s and explore the transformations that have taken place in the Quad since your time as a student.
- Alumni brunch & Alumni Awards ceremony – Indulge in a curated menu from Chef Jamie England as we celebrate the 2024 alumni award recipients and reminisce with fellow graduates.
- Guided tour of the King’s Library Treasure Room – Dive into nostalgia and discovery at the Library Treasure Room. Take a journey through the heart of your alma mater’s legacy, by exploring special collections, archives and hidden gems.
- Anniversary celebration tea & sherry hour – Attend a special reception in the President’s Lodge honouring graduates marking 10-, 25-, and 50- years since Encaenia. Enjoy some delectable treats, tea & sherry, as we celebrate with the classes of ’14, ’99 and ’74!
- Alumni gathering at Garrison Brewery – Reconnect with King’s graduates and forge new connections near the Halifax Waterfront. Raise a glass of your choice to the memories shared and future ahead.
Want to make a weekend of it? Feeling nostalgic about your days in residence? The Wardroom will be open the evening of Friday, May 31 for those who wish to kick back and relax in your old stomping grounds.
