Campus closed for holidays: The King's campus is closed from end of day December 20 to January 2.
King’s Men’s Basketball have completed the signing of Halifax based Shooting Guard, Alp Ozgoren. Ozgoren, who currently plays for the C.P. Allen Cheetahs, has been a regular fixture in the Basketball Nova Scotia Provincial program, most recently on the provinces U-17 Team in 2019. A standout in the Metro, Ozgoren regularly posts double-digit scoring for the CPA.
“Adding a player with Alp’s experience and skill set is highly beneficial for what we are building here at King’s” says head coach, Luc Stevenson. “Alp is a provincial level player and high school all-star in the metro region. We look forward to having him apart of our Men’s basketball program.”
“I am excited for this great opportunity to continue my basketball career at the next level with the University of King’s College Blue Devils. I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and look forward to pursuing a degree at one of Canada’s oldest universities” says Ozgoren.
Alp is the second signing the by the Blue Devil’s for next season, joining Ethan Brownsey from British Columbia.
