University of King’s College unveils new, five-year Strategic Enrolment Management plan

To help articulate a long-term enrolment vision, identify measurable goals aligned with institutional priorities and establish a collaborative framework for planning, execution and analysis, University of King’s College has released a Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) plan for the next five years.

The SEM plan, which considers all domestic and international student enrolment across King’s undergraduate and graduate programs, is designed to complement and align with other institutional planning initiatives, ultimately serving King’s overall integrated strategic planning and fostering collaboration across academic and administrative units.

“With the landscape of post-secondary education changing in the age of AI, it is extremely beneficial for King’s to work with this new SEM plan to achieve its core goals over the next five years. King’s attracts such intellectually curious students who want to gain perspective and change the way they see the world through knowledge, and this plan will help us ensure we evolve to meet their needs and support their journey as they move to becoming the leaders of tomorrow,” said Kutay Ulkuer, Chief Enrolment and Student Life Officer. “The plan doesn’t simply focus on recruitment or retention goals, but takes a more holistic approach to the enrolment priorities at King’s and makes sure every department and facet of campus life moves in the same, positive direction.”

As King’s looks towards a bright future, this SEM plan is not intended to function as a comprehensive strategic plan for each academic unit, program or delivery method. Instead, it serves as a unifying framework that guides institution-wide planning and resource alignment in support of enrolment priorities.
