President George Cooper delivered his annual speech to faculty and staff at the University of King’s College on 7 January 2014. He outlined the achievements of the past year, including the release of the new strategic plan for the university.
“Our strategic plan tells us we want to preserve the eternal King’s,” he said, “while building on that foundation for the future. What is the eternal King’s, the King’s we hold dear? It is the belief that only by understanding our past can we live fully as human beings, and only in living life as fully engaged citizens can we shape our future.”
