Islander, Claire Davis, joins Women's Volleyball

The King’s Women’s Volleyball coaching staff have sealed their first player of the new year, signing Claire Davis of Charlottetown, PEI. Capable of playing at setter or right side, Davis joins from Colonel Gray High School, where she has helped lead “The Gray” to 3 consecutive provincial titles. Outside of the scholastic league, Davis has participated in the PEI Canada Games training team for both court and beach volleyball, and plays for the Island Surge Volleyball Club.

Claire has also taken time to give back to the sport, and serves and serves as a coach for P3 Volleyball Club.”Claire is a very well-rounded player that works very hard in all aspects of her life, on and off the court”, says King’s Head Coach, Raeesa Lalani. “We are thrilled to have such a wonderful person join our team.” A patron of the Arts and Music, Claire enjoys painting and reading in her free time, as well as playing the clarinet.
