Originally from Miramichi, New Brunswick, I came to Halifax to study Sociology at Dal in 2019. Now studying Social Work, I am passionate about mental health, supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and empowering those around me. In my spare time, I really enjoy podcasting with my best friend, gardening, playing with my dogs and relaxing with a cozy video game (Any Stardew Valley fans reading this?)!

I’m really excited to join the King’s community as a Don this year. I’ve been in post-secondary long enough to know how crazy life can get, and how powerful a supportive community can be! I am beyond excited to support each other through this period of growth, and I can’t wait to make memories together!

Dons are either upper-year King’s students or young professionals who live within a residence floor or bay and provide support to residents in their community.

They can help with:

  • Peer support & mentorship
  • Community building & programming
  • Conflict resolution between community members
  • Providing referrals to campus supports

Dons are the first line of support for individuals living in residence. There is a Don on Call available for urgent/immediate support each evening, weekend and holiday.

The Don on Call (4 p.m.– 8 a.m., Mon–Fri & 24/7 on weekends and holidays) can assist with:

  • After hours incident response
  • After hours emergency response
  • After hours mental health crisis response
