Join us to learn about exclusive opportunities for King’s students at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law.

On Wednesday, October 29 at 6 p.m., President Lahey will host a conversation with the Associate Dean of Calgary Law, Dr. Catherine Valestuk. This information session will highlight law school, University of Calgary’s law program and the unique partnership between our two universities. For students curious about, or considering, law school after King’s (whether at Calgary or any other law school), this event is a must-attend!

This year Dr. Valestuk will be joining us in person. We will gather in the Boardroom on the second floor of the Arts & Administration Building so we can enjoy some pizza together before and during the session.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by sending an email to president.office@ukings.ca with any dietary restrictions by Monday, October 27. The first 30 students to RSVP will be invited to attend.

King’s partnership with the Faculty of Law of the University of Calgary

For King’s graduates, law school is a frequent choice—and Calgary’s Faculty of Law has particular benefits for them.

Students who have completed the Foundation Year Program are provisionally pre-admitted to UCalgary’s Faculty of Law. Moreover, graduates who have completed FYP and who are entering their first year of Calgary’s JD Program will be automatically considered for the F. Murray Fraser QC Scholarship, valued at up to $12,000.

If you are thinking about law school as one of your options, getting connected to opportunities at different law schools while you’re attending King’s is a fantastic idea. Please join us for this conversation!
