Meet King’s faculty and alumni at Journalism and Media Day in Toronto!
Journalism and Media Day is an opportunity for students to learn about King’s journalism programs, including the revamped Bachelor of Journalism and Media (Honours). Students will hear from faculty and alumni who will explain the programs, campus life and being a student in Halifax, as well as answer any questions. A faculty member will also lead a workshop so students can get a sense of the kind of hands-on, active learning that takes place at King’s.
All currently enrolled Grade 12 students who attend our Fall 2026 Lecture Tour will have a $65 application waiver applied to their September 2027 application. Applicants are encouraged to submit their application after the event. Valid for BJMH, BA, BMus and BSc applicants.
Important note: Attendance at the event will be verified before a fee waiver is applied and an admission decision is released. Application fee refunds will not be granted.
If you have any questions, please email recruitment and admissions officer, Joshua Young, at joshua.young@ukings.ca.
