Help ‘the Wardy’ to maintain its place as the best bar in Halifax!
In years past, alumni combined forces to help undertake an extraordinary renovation of your beloved bar the HMCS King’s Wardroom, which reopened after extensive renovations in 2017. Now we’re asking for your help to raise money in support of a new sound system for your old stomping grounds!
On Thursday, November 18, we invite alumni to return to the Wardroom and help support its efforts to purchase new and improved sound equipment for the space.
This event is open to alumni and guests, along with King’s faculty, staff and current students. Masks, ID and proof of vaccination required.

A donation to the Wardroom sound system fundraiser will unlock the arrival of a video on November 18. Led by alum Bob Mann, BA’01, you’ll see what your favorite Halifax haunt looks like today and get a quick King’s tutorial in cocktail-making from a Wardroom bartender. You’ll also receive a Zoom link that will go live at 6 p.m. AT when—through low-tech means—we’ll bring you and your friends around the Wardroom and into the party!
