Since April, 2017, a broadly representative Committee to develop a Sexual Assault Awareness, Prevention and Response Policy (SAAPRC) for King’s has been meeting to draft a policy document. A crucial stage of the policy development is community-wide consultation. Such consultation took place on the first draft of the policy in October, 2017. Since that time, and particularly over the summer of 2018, the Committee has worked hard to produce a second draft of our policy document. The SAAPRC is happy to announce that consultation is now open on this second draft. We invite all members of the King’s community to review the document, the Sexualized Violence Awareness, Prevention and Response Policy, and to express their ideas on how they view its effectiveness or on how it might be improved. Among other ways to voice their opinion, there will a moderated Town Hall for all King’s community members on Wednesday, October 17, 6:00-8:00pm in Alumni Hall.

NB: Town Halls are strictly limited to the specified members of the King’s community. Unauthorised recordings of all kinds are prohibited. Town Halls are closed to the media.
