Join the History of Science and Technology Society for a screening and discussion of Behind The Curve, a Netflix documentary about the flat-earth phenomenon.
Questions to be pondered:
- Are flat-earthers doing science?
- What distinguishes good from bad science?
- What about all the photos from space?!?!?!
- Do flat-earthers have rational justification for their beliefs? What’s that even mean?
- Um, is the earth flat?
Come armed with thoughts and questions.
