UPDATE: Due to Monday’s weather, the event has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, December 5 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Dear students,

It is with great joy that Kathryn and I invite you to join us in the President’s Lodge for a Holiday/End of Term Open House, on Tuesday, December 5, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Our family Christmas tree will be up. The Chapel Choir will stop by to perform a selection of music, and there will be some delicious snacks and light refreshments provided by Chartwells. The end of term is always busy and, in the spirit of an Open House, all King’s students, faculty and staff are welcome to visit at any time that is convenient for you between 2 and 5 p.m. and to stay for a few minutes or for a longer visit – whatever suits you.

For anyone who has not visited the Lodge before, we are in between Cochrane Bay and the Chapel. You can come to our front door on Coburg Road (#6360) or to our back door, which is just past the outer door on the same outdoor landing as the door of the Chapel. You can also reach our back door through the Senior Common Room, if it is not being used. There will be signs in the foyer of the Arts and Administration Building (A&A) with directions.

I hope that you will take some time to join us and to take a moment to recognize the end of term in shared anticipation of a well-deserved break. Kathryn and I look forward to welcoming you and to once again sharing the Lodge with our community.

Sincerely,

President Bill
