On February 27, 2024, the University of King’s College will honour the legendary journalist Sherri Borden Colley with a Doctor of Civil Law (honoris causa).
This event, taking place at the Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia, has been long in coming. Originally announced in 2020, it was not possible, until now, to confer the award due to the pandemic.
There will be special performances by the Nova Scotia Mass Choir (of which Borden Colley is a member), and the King’s Chapel Choir under the direction of Dr. Neil Cockburn.
