The Contemporary Studies Program at King’s invites you to Racism, Opacity, Ethics: the Role of Recognition in Racial Justice, a lecture by King’s alumnus Dr. Eyo Ewara BA(Hons)’14.

Dr. Ewara is assistant professor of philosophy at Loyola University Chicago. His work engages the intersection of continental philosophy, critical philosophy of race, and queer and LGBTQ thought. In particular, his work explores how opacity, unintelligibility and refusal are theorized in these areas as ethical practices.
